Poetry: Deep In Earth by Edgar Allan Poe

This is probably my favourite poem in the world. Seriously guys, I want this on my gravestone (How morbid of me).

Deep In Earth- Edgar Allan Poe

"Deep in earth my love is lying
And I must weep alone."

That's it! I just think it's so heart-wrenchingly sad but at the same time, incredibly romantic. And it's only two lines! 

If you haven't read any Edgar Allan Poe then I definitely recommend you to check him out (he's rather famous). He wrote lovely Gothic poems and short stories. I have a big hardback book of his entire works which is really nice to sit down and get lost in on a rainy day.
If you want a good distraction from life you ought to look him up.
