Music: Calm Yourself To Sleep!

I always get really stressed and worked up over absolutely nothing. And it makes me so damn tired.
To calm myself down and to help me sleep, I listen to lovely soothing music.

My playlists often change as new songs get released and I stumble upon older stuff.
But this, currently, is my Calm Yourself To Sleep list.

Listen to these songs and I promise you will feel so much better.

'Hush Lullaby' by Joel Faviere, released 2012.

Joel Faviere is an incredible song writer. His music is completely relatable.
When I can't sleep, I put this song on and voila! I am asleep. It's a beautiful tune and an aptly named lullaby.

'Lullaby' by Sia, released 7th January 2008 from the album 'Some People Have Real Problems'.

When I think I can't do something, I listen to this song. It comforts me when I feel stressed and
encourages me not to give up.

'Angels' (Live In Tokyo) by The xx, released 17th September 2012 from the album 'Coexist'.

Let's be honest, anything from The xx will make you relax. But I've chosen 'Angels' because of the lyrics
(I love the line 'You move through the room, like breathing was easy') and this live in Tokyo version is softer.

'Nothing Has To Happen' by Hungry Ghosts, released 20th June 2000 from the album 'Alone, Alone'.

Search 'post rock' on YouTube and you will discover a wonderful world of music where the songs are longer, the people are nicer and the band names are super deep. This genre is the epitome of soothing background music.

Thanks for reading.
I hope I have helped you in some way.
